A machine that refunds deposits
without taking up your store team's time

Customers drop off their reusable packaging, the machine recognises each item one by one, stores it and refunds their deposit. It is fully self-service: your store team never handles a bottle and never deals with breakage.

Our other solutions

How does it work?

Step by step

01

The customer drops off

They insert their empty packaging into the machine, one item at a time.

02

The machine recognises

It identifies each item and stores it in the pallet box, without breaking it.

03

The customer gets a refund

Instantly: as a voucher, to a bank card or loyalty card, or as a donation.

04

The team empties it

The full pallet box comes out on a pallet truck in under two minutes.

What's behind it

Sensors, cameras and algorithms developed by our teams identify each item (shape, weight, barcode, label), match it with the right deposit amount and refund the customer in a few seconds, with no human intervention. Hugo, product manager at The Keepers, explains it in one minute.

Why get one?

For your customers, your teams and your store

What the machine changes for your customers, your teams and your store

Offer reuse, and get ahead. Something your customers expect and that is still rare, plus time to choose your equipment while funding is available.

Don't make collection your teams' job. No checks at the counter, no dirty containers to handle, no queues: the machine takes care of it.

Make reuse appealing. A simple, modern, instant gesture that brings your customers back and sets your store apart.

One machine for all packaging

Shapes, materials, sizes, aisles

The only machine on the market that collects and refunds the deposit on every type of reusable packaging.

Shapes
bottles, jars, pots, large jugs, boxes, trays, crates
Materials
glass, plastic, aluminium, stainless steel
Sizes
from 25 cl up to a 6 L keg
Aisles
drinks, groceries, fresh produce, personal care, household products

That is what lets you go beyond the drinks aisle, and reach your reuse targets with a single piece of equipment.

Your store, your team

The questions we get asked

How much space does it take?

1 mof floor frontage, in an aisle, in the shopping mall or at the store entrance

The Collector was designed around a universal pallet box. It can stand alone or be built in, and a simple manual pallet truck is all it takes to swap the box when it is full, with no lifting by hand.

How much of my team's time will it take?

< 2 minto empty the machine when it is full
  • No containers to handle, no sorting to do
  • A standard manual pallet truck and gloves, nothing else
  • Email alert when full and an indicator light

I don't want my team handling after-sales service

24/7phone support
  • The number is on the machine: your customers call us directly
  • Every machine is monitored remotely, every day
  • Remote or on-site support from our teams

Is there a risk of breakage or fraud?

No breakage: a cushioning system guides each item all the way down to the pallet box (patent filed).

No fraud: a secure intake chamber rejects anything it does not recognise, and every attempt is logged in your statistics.

Is it easy for my customers to understand?

  • Three steps: drop off, let it recognise, choose your refund
  • No app, no account to create
  • A screen that guides them step by step

Optional: a prize draw or a consumer survey on the machine's screen.

And how much does it cost?

  • A monthly subscription, partly covered by producer responsibility organisations (PROs)
  • No capital outlay: we don't sell the machine
  • Maintenance and after-sales service included
  • No building work: a standard socket is enough

  • Condition of every electronic component, so we can act before a breakdown

Where is it made?

In France

In France. Design, R&D, assembly and after-sales service in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine); manufacturing by Bourasseau Industrie in Les Epesses (Vendée) for the past ten years.

That is what allows us to improve the machine quickly, and to step in fast when it needs a part.

Where are the machines meant to go?

In stores, and beyond

The Collector installed in the entrance area of a hypermarket

In stores, of course. But also anywhere takeaway meals are served in a sheltered space: food courts, campsites, concert and theatre venues. That is where reusable containers come back fastest, and where the most single-use tableware is thrown away today.
